Courtland Kansas Mural original downtown

Downtown

The original Courtland mural, this farm scene shows many of the elements of living in and around Courtland.  Originally painted by Tim Leaf and his art students in 1987 and repainted in 1997 by Pat Mikesell, the mural is currently being looked at for a refresh.

Soul Sister's

This “hidden” mural is located on the west side of Soul Sister Ceramics and it’s worth the effort to find it!  This bright mural, painted by artist Cheneal Benne in 2020, depicts brightly colored flowers and the Soul Sister logo.

South of Town

The newest of Courtland’s murals, this art piece was completed in 2022 and consists of historic pictures from when the Bostwick Irrigation District was being constructed.  Pictures were pulled from the archives, scanned in, and the mural was designed by Harley Schuster for North40 Architecture.  The panels were made by Apple(1)Media out of Belleville.
